The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a creative yet analytical Accessory Product Planner to join their team on a long-term temporary assignment. This role blends innovation with strategy-ideal for someone who can envision new product concepts while backing decisions with solid data and market insights.

What You'll Do

  • Develop Accessory Strategies: Create and present product plans aligned with OEM guidelines, market trends, and competitive analysis.
  • Research & Concept Development: Investigate new accessory ideas, assess feasibility, and prepare business cases considering profitability, customer interest, and installation complexity.
  • Market Intelligence: Analyze sales data, industry developments, and competitor offerings to inform planning decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with brand planning teams to translate technical and design details into actionable product strategies.
  • Reporting & Communication: Deliver trend reports, maintain planning logs, and communicate updates to stakeholders-including regular coordination with MOBIS HQ.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with meeting documentation and departmental organization.

  • Timely delivery of product plans and concept proposals.
  • Accurate profitability reviews and compelling business cases.
  • Effective collaboration across departments and clear communication with senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Market Research, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • Automotive accessory planning or related industry experience preferred.
    • Strong technical understanding of automotive systems and accessory lifecycles.
  • Skills:
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
    • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
